I know there’s been a lot going on with the election, the news and the overall uncertainty. It seems that everyone online and on TV is blowing things completely out of proportion.
But here’s the thing, no matter what happens, the world is going to keep spinning.
No matter which party has overall control, America is not going to crumble in the next 4 years.
And at the end of the day, we have to take care of our personal lives regardless of what’s going on around us.
And sometimes that means turning off all input.
Deleting Facebook and Instagram (I don’t have them on my phone)
Stop watching TV (We literally do not have one)
And just plain start being and feeling human again. Enjoying human experiences. Like being with the people you care about…
I sometimes shudder at the thought of what I allow to take control of my mind sometimes. Dwelling on fear when my wife is sitting in front of me. Thinking about business when my 75 day year old son is looking at me…
We’re only here once. Let’s make it count.
I hope to encourage you today when the media tells us the world is unraveling.
As you know, the world will go on. People will still work…
People will still fall in love.
We will have dreams.
Dreams of actually breaking $1,000 in profit in our business…
Dreams of going full time…
Dreams of becoming a top earner…
Dreams of being at home with our family all day instead of at work all day…
Here’s a few quickies to brighten up your day:
In 2008, when the world was falling apart, my first upline hit the biggest rank in my old company.
…I got started in his team in April of 2009…
In 2014, I was determined to bring MLM online. I quit my job prematurely and drove Uber to pay bills. I lived on a $30/week grocery budget.
Many times, my mom and girlfriend (Ashley) had to stock up my pantry when I wasn’t looking to get me through the week.
9 months in, my first MLM funnel started working and I made my first $90 online. I cried in the bathroom in Ashley’s arms that morning and realized I could make it work.
A couple years later we recruited 8 people personally in a single day. More than some of my previous years building old school.
We had a day when 900 people applied to join my MLM team. I was eating Panda Express at the time…
And today, while I don’t quote my income (thanks FTC), we enjoy a comfortable, full time online lifestyle in Southern Cali.
I started my business in a recession.
GM started in a recession.
HP started in a recession.
Apple started their business coming out of a recession.
These were times of economic unrest and fear in society. Yet many of the “greats” began in those exact times.
At times like this, don’t pull back, press in. The competition is lower. The coast is clear.
Who are the ones who get the rewards? The ones who go the extra mile.
They’re also the ones who follow this rule in business.
Go Where You’re Celebrated, Not Tolerated.
