Asking someone if they’re interested in your opportunity could be the single worst mistake in recruiting other than just flat out not doing it.
(You can’t fix anything with inaction.)
But my guess is, you’re willing to work, you just don’t want to do anything that’s pointless or doesn’t produce results…

Well they quit for a few reasons…
1. My retention sucked. I didn’t apply the principles I’ve laid out in the “Perfect Retention Secrets” course.
Because I didn’t know them. And what you don’t know, does hurt you.
2. I didn’t set the prospect up properly. I was chasing them and they knew it.
They felt they had control over me. Even though my words didn’t give them that control, deep down they knew that I needed them more than they needed me.
And that issue started at the very beginning of the process.
I had no idea that there was another way to set up a prospect properly…
I had no idea that you could say a few sentences and completely change the trajectory of the conversation and immediately put YOU in the driver’s seat instead of the prospect.
And become the hunted instead of the hunter.
We talk a lot about the hunter / hunted philosophy in online marketing and lead gen, but we rarely ever talk about it in offline recruiting.
The truth is, to be successful in any type of recruiting, you have to become attractive enough to get people to chase YOU, rather than chasing them.
